MORAN TO PERFORM AT INTERNATIONAL HORN SOCIETY CONFERENCE
To celebrate the "Golden History of the Horn" Andres will perform Douglas Hill's "Shared Reflections for Horn Quartet" as a member of the Wisconsin Horn Quartet (Bruce Atwell, Andrew Parks, Daniel Grabois) at the 50th IHS conference at Ball State University in August 2018.
FOX VALLEY YOUTH SYMPHONY
Andres has been appointed the music director of the Fox Valley Youth Symphony in Appleton, WI. He will lead the organization's top ensemble starting August 2017.
RETURNING TO INTERLOCHEN ARTS CAMP IN SUMMER 2017
Andres has been invited to join the conducting faculty at the esteemed Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan. He will lead two performances with the Intermediate Symphony Orchestra.
MORAN APPOINTED TO ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MUSIC AT UW-STEVENS POINT
Andres has been appointed to the music faculty of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point starting in the fall of 2016. He will be leading the UWSP Symphony Orchestra and serve as artist/teacher of horn.
MORAN TO RETURN TO MUSIC IN THE MOUNTAINS IN JULY 2016
Andres has been invited to return to Durango to serve as conductor of the MITM Conservatory program in July 2016. In addition to his work with the Conservatory, Andres will lead a Festival Pops performance featuring vocalist Steve Lippia in an evening celebrating Frank Sinatra and the MITM Family Festivo performance.

NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY "STAR"
On February 13, 2016 Andres Moran was recognized at the NMSU Arts & Sciences Starry Night awards program as the "Star" from the NMSU Department of Music.
MORAN CONDUCTS TMEA REGION XII ORCHESTRA
Andres traveled to San Antonio, TX in December 2015 to conduct the TMEA Region XII Orchestra Clinic & Concert. The program consisted of Verdi's "La Forza Del Destino Overture" and Delibes' "Cortege du Bacchus from Sylvia".
ALBUQUERQUE YOUTH SYMPHONY
Beginning in August 2015, Andres will join the Albuquerque Youth Symphony Program as conductor of its flagship ensemble. With its 14 ensembles, the AYSP offers musical instruction for students in grades 4-12 for strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, guitar, and chorus.
EPSO CELEBRATES 75 YEARS OF YOUNG PEOPLE'S CONCERTS
In February 2015, Andres led the El Paso Symphony Orchestra in their 75th annual El Paso Electric Young People's Concerts. Collaborating with Carnegie Hall's Link Up program, over 15,000 fifth graders learned about how "The Orchestra Moves."
In summer 2015, Andres will be joining the faculty of the Music in the Mountains Conservatory in Durango, Colorado. He will be leading rehearsals and performances with the Conservatory Orchestra of high school and college age musicians.
DETROIT SYMPHONY CIVIC YOUTH ORCHESTRA
Andres has been invited to guest conduct the 2nd concert cycle of the DSO's premier pre-professional youth orchestra ensemble in March 2015. The "All-Russian" program will coincide with the DSO's Tchaikovsky Festival and include Tchaikovsky's "Festival Coronation March" and Rachmaninoff's "Symphonic Dances."
KTEP STATE OF THE ARTS
Andres appeared on KTEP's "State of the Arts" with Monica Gomez to talk about the El Paso Symphony's upcoming Downtown KidsPalooza Arts Festival and the 7th Annual Side by Side Concert with the El Paso Symphony Youth Orchestras.
INTERLOCHEN ARTS CAMP
Andres has been invited to conduct two performances with the Interlochen Philharmonic during the 2013 Interlochen Arts Camp. Concert programs will include Gershwin's "American in Paris", Gwyneth Walker's "Open the Door", Dukas' "Sorcerer's Apprentice", and Dvorak's "The Golden Spinning Wheel."
MORAN PROMOTED TO RESIDENT CONDUCTOR
Andres Moran, an El Paso native who joined the El Paso Symphony as assistant conductor in 2009, has been named the first resident conductor in the orchestra's 81-year history.
